How the Heater Works
Your heater actually starts with a cooling system. This includes the water pump which circulates the coolant mixture and a radiator that releases heat to keep the engine from overheating. The heating system adds a smaller radiator to move the heat from the engine to the passenger cabin. A fan moves the air over the heater core, making the flowing air warm enough to warm you up. 
Leaking Coolant
Obviously the first thing to check is your coolant/antifreeze. If you don’t have enough in your reservoir, that may be the problem. If you fill it and it is gone very quickly, that indicates a leak somewhere in the system. Prestige can fix that! Please call us at 845-750-6941. 
Broken Fan

Heater Core
If your fan works but you don’t feel any heat, then the problem lies with the heater core. It is probably not doing its job because it isn't getting enough coolant. This may be due to a failed HVAC thermostat. If it has failed, then there is nothing to signal the heater to turn on. In other cases, the coolant has stopped flowing because the water pump has gone bad. If this happens, the car may be overheating. Watch your car’s thermostat.
